Beautiful stay amid spice jungle

We recently came back from this lovely property with warm staff and beautiful location. We had taken 2 super dlx rooms 401 and 403 stayed for 3 nights. Here is the detailed review. The road to the property is an adventure in itself however the resort offers pick up and drop to the main road and no charges for that. They even drop your car to the main road. The road to the resort is narrow and very steep. It is surrounded by lush green trees and spice jungle.Rooms are absolutely clean and so are the washrooms. We did not find a speck of dust on the floor or anywhere. Staff here is very very helpful and they take really good care of you. The pool is well maintained. Food is good and the in house restaurant offers a good selection of items. The only improvement they need is the buffet breakfast. Butter should be there along with jam. Juice should be fresh and if there is idlis please ensure you have vada too. Jithu the property manager is a gem of a person. I recommend this resort to everyone. This is one of the best places to breathe some fresh air leaving your busy schedules never ending work pressures. I, with family enjoyed a lot and of course the service levels from each of their departments were of excellent standard. Its a budget resort with pool and nature surrounded. Good : Ambience/Food/Service Bad : Actually did't experience any such Recommends to all just to stay away from your place and see and feel the nature and add some value to your life. Very species rooms and all. Good ambiance. Also the food is very delicious. We all our friends enjoys a lot. Only problem i found was the road to the resort. It was too steep and narrow. As the names says it is located in a spice jungle.

The images you see are the best angles they could get pictures from, there is nothing beyond the images. Its merely a lodge with a pool. We booked 3 rooms and one of which was made of gypsum so you can imagine how safe you will feel. Its not for family, bachelors might be able to adjust. Food was average. The toilet stinks, I was wondering why it was ambushed with room freshener when we checked in, once it wears off then it smells real bad. The place is filled with mosquitoes. They have another property called "Dew Drops" in Munnar, we had stayed the previous night there and the stay was amazing there.

Rooms are in very poor conditions.Not as per what they showed in their site.When Sitting in the balcony you will get bad smell bcoz of the water drainage below.Breakfast is not good.I booked room for my family(me, wife and 2 daughters).I mentioned my childrens age also when i booked. Paid amount as per that. But when we reached the room the bed was too small to accomodate 4 of us. When i asked for an extra bed, they demanded Rs 500/- extra. They told me that in their system my childrents were mentioned as " infants". But i showed my booking in my MMT Application in which i mentioned their age as 3 and 7.Finally i given money for an extra bed only bcoz i dont want to spoil my family's happiness in that late night. Road to that resort is very bad.Easily our car will get damaged.Totally worst experience ever..
